Mariquita Farm “Culinary Herb Collection” — This collection includes Bay Leaf (12 leaves), Rosemary (24 grams) and Marjoram (24 grams). Bay Leaf is useful for its distinctive flavor and bright, spicy, sweet scent, and often used to flavor soups, stews, braises and pâtés. Rosemary is one of the most aromatic herbs, its needlelike leaves have a pronounced lemon-pine flavor that pairs well with roasted lamb, garlic, and olive oil. Rosemary is also a nice addition to focaccia, baked breads, tomato sauce, pizza, and pork. Sage has a pronounced herbal flavor that is earthy, slightly peppery taste with hints of mint, eucalyptus, and lemon that pairs well with heavier dishes and rich ingredients like lamb and chicken that can hold their own against such a bold flavor.
