Mariquita Farm “Culinary Herb Collection” includes Sage (8 g bag), Summer Savory (12 g bag) and Greek Laurel. Greek Laurel is sometimes called “Bay Leaf” but it is a different plant from our native California Bay. Greek Laurel is the “Crown of Champions” and useful for its distinctive flavor and bright, spicy sweet scent. (Note: photo does not show Greek Laurel but does include the sage and savory.) The herbal oils in our herbs are preserved longer by not crushing the herbs prior to package. Crushing or bruising the herbs releases the flavor and aroma in the plant oil and should be done right before use. $15 for Package of Three.
